HI-5200

The HI-5200 is a single supply 10Base-T/100Base-TX physical layer transceiver, which provides MII/RMII interfaces to transmit and receive data. HP Auto MDI/MDI-X provides the most robust solution for eliminating the need to differentiate between crossover and straight-through cables. An optional interrupt pin provides status updates to the external controller, avoiding the need for continuous polling.

The device is capable of enhanced (−40oC to +105oC) and extended(−55oC to +125oC) operating temperature ranges, with optional burn-in available in the extended temperature version.

ADK-5200: HI-5200 Application Development Kit

The HI-5200 application development kit, ADK-5200, features Holt’s Ethernet PHY transceiver, HI-5200, designed specifically for extended temperature military and aerospace applications. The kit provides access to all PHY configuration pins and includes a readily accessible MII or RMII interface, which can be easily connected to an external MAC via the on-board connector. Other features include a RJ-45 Jack for “Fast Ethernet” cable connection, programmable LEDs for reporting link status and activity, and a manual reset button for quick reboot after reconfiguration of strapping pins.
